A welcome return visit by the Kammerphilharmonie Europa. This popular chamber orchestra always delights our members - performing original works perfectly suited to their pared down format with virtuosic soloists - on this occasion - trumpeter Cyrill Gussaroff and violinist Pavel Zuzanski.
The programme will introduce us to Czech composer Johann Baptist Georg Neruda whose trumpet concerto is one of his best known works. It will perfectly complement baroque period pieces by J.S. Bach and Corelli.
Musicians
Violin - Pavel Zuzanski, Sabi Yordanov, Andrey Sudnitsyn, Tina Krumik
Viola - Elvira Nenova
Cello - Rafael de Silva
Double bass - Alexander Tschernousov
‘The four violinists together with viola, cello and bass that make up the nucleus of the orchestra played with consummate artistry and ensemble in some challenging repertoire.' Ilkley Concert Club 2019
